Gigi's celebrates big on Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is the biggest day of the year for Gigi's, and 2014 proved it only gets bigger every year.
As the doors closed on Saturday night at our 98 locations all across the nation, sales of Gigi's award-winning gourmet cupcakes hit a new high. Many locations saw a significant sales increase over last year's historical high.
This year, in addition to Gigi's gourmet cupcakes, the company added a new Stuffed Valentine Cookie to the Valentine's product mix.
"Our entire team works for months to prepare for Valentine's Day," said Gigi Butler, founder of Gigi's Cupcakes in Nashville, Tennessee. "This year we not only made significant additions to our product mix, we really ramped up our marketing all across the board. We pushed everyone in our Nashville office to the edge, including product development, operations and marketing. We did some truly remarkable things to make this year's Valentine's Day our biggest and best yet."
Gigi's is the world's largest gourmet cupcake company, and had a record 98 locations working almost around the clock to bake enough cupcakes, cheesecakes and cookies to meet demand. Many locations had lines out the door all weekend long.
" I couldn't be prouder of how all of our employees and our franchisees responded!," said Butler.
