Favorite Gigi's Cupcake: Double Stuff
Hi! I’m Deena and I’d like to welcome you to the sweetest little bakery in Peachtree Corners, where every delicious treat is lovingly handmade fresh in our kitchen every single day.
Here’s the story of how Gigi’s Cupcakes came to my hometown. In April 2010, Gil and Tobi Lyons opened the first Gigi’s Cupcakes in Georgia, located in Sandy Springs. Gil and my husband, Sean, were childhood friends who grew up together in Nashville (home of the original Gigi’s Cupcakes). When Gil and Tobi opened the Sandy Springs store, Sean would often stop by “just to say hi” and would bring home a box of cupcakes which we would promptly devour. As you can imagine, our family quickly became addicted to these amazing cakes. It didn’t take long before we realized that we absolutely MUST have them closer to home so we could share them with all of our friends and neighbors.
I’m a true Atlanta native who grew up right here in Peachtree Corners, so The Forum on Peachtree Parkway was the perfect location for us. I love living and raising my children in this wonderful community, and working right down the road from my house, my children’s school (Wesleyan), and my alma mater (Norcross High School). I’ve always loved to bake and entertain friends, so baking delicious creations to help others celebrate their special occasions is the perfect job for me! Peachtree Corners is such a tight-knit community full of wonderful, supportive people and I just love putting a smile our customers' faces with beautiful handmade desserts!
We are committed to giving back to our community. Just a few of the wonderful organizations we've been blessed to support include The American Cancer Society, CURE Childhood Cancer, Be The Match National Marrow Donor Program, American Red Cross, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, National Down Syndrome Society, Developmental Disabilities Ministries, Gwinnett Childrens’ Shelter, FurKids Animal Shelter, and local schools and churches. In addition, our leftover cupcakes are donated to local charities each night so that we can start fresh the next morning with a whole new menu for you. We truly appreciate your support of our business so that we are able to give back!
Gigi’s at The Forum is a full-service bakery, offering far more than just delicious cupcakes! We have an extensive menu to satisfy every sweet tooth, including mini-cupcakes, cheesecakes, stuffed cookies, iced cookies, pies, bread loaves and muffins, hand-dipped ice cream, custom cakes of all sizes, and elaborate dessert bars. We also offer in-house cupcake decorating parties, along with Wedding and Event catering. We even have cards, balloons, and gifts, making us your one-stop shop for all your gift-giving needs!
We hope you will stop in soon, and let us make YOUR life a little sweeter!

Gigi's of Georgia raises $4200 for cancer research
Gigi's says their cupcakes are baked with love, and during Childhood Awareness Month, they proved it.
Every Saturday in September, each Georgia Gigi's location baked special "Gold Ribbon" cupcakes, and all proceeds from the sale of those cupcakes were donated to CURE Childhood Cancer. Customers who purchased these cupcakes were entered into a drawing each week for an autographed baseball signed by 2014 Hall of Fame inductee and former Atlanta Braves pitcher, Tom Glavine. At the end of the month, customers were entered to win an autographed photo of Glavine.
"Thanks to the enthusiastic support of our fans, Gigi's gave away 32 baseballs, eight photos, and, more importantly, raised $4,200.00 to help fund childhood cancer research! ," said Deena Coughlin, owner of Gigi's at The Forum.
The check was presented today to Kristin Connor, Executive Director of CURE, by Coughlin (owner of Gigi’s at The Forum) and Judy Kenney (owner of Gigi’s Marietta/Kennesaw). Not pictured were participating owners Sarah Harberts (Buckhead/Peachtree City), Bobbi Zastre (Athens), Gil Lyons (Sandy Springs), and Jennifer Cooper (Columbus).
